I am a Class-IV Restorative Type Cyborg, relying on technology to supplement physical disabilities. According to a very strict reading of my high school biology textbook, this makes me technically dead. Take this as you will.
I am an author and an artist. On the authorial front, I technically qualify for the category of “award-winning”. I don’t like to brag about this because part of the reason I won was because people assumed my work was fictional, when in fact, it was autobiographical. In addition to writing blog posts, also dabble in fictional writing and drawing.
Since starting this blog I have finally, after many long years of slogging through homework and paperwork, made it out the other end of public high school. Getting over this hurdle despite the crippling combination of physical disabilities and bureaucratic inertia has proven the hardest task in my life thus far, and though I am now done, I am far from over it. I am now a part time student at a local university.
I enjoy travelling. These days, most of my travel is for disability conferences. People have this idea that being able to read my own speeches coherently makes me a motivational speaker. I don’t get paid, but I do get to meet interesting people and go places.
